Veneer sheet packaging is the sixth and final stage of the beech veneer production process at Alesta UA. Sheets that have completed all production stages and quality control are prepared and packaged at this stage according to customer requirements and export specifications.

The Importance of Packaging

Beech veneer sheets are by nature sensitive to moisture and mechanical impact. Sheets exposed to unsuitable conditions during transport can encounter problems such as deformation, colour change, and surface damage. The packaging method applied at Alesta UA ensures that sheets maintain their quality from production through to delivery to the customer.

How Does the Packaging Process Work?

Graded veneer sheets are first grouped according to quality grade, dimension, and moisture content. Each group is then stacked in layers with protective packaging materials and wrapped. The outer surface of the packages is covered with moisture-resistant material and labels containing content information, quality grade, dimensions, and customer details are placed on each package.

FSC Certified Packaging

As Alesta UA holds FSC Chain-of-Custody certification, our FSC certified products are specially marked during the packaging stage. This marking ensures traceability of products throughout the supply chain and documents to our customers that the raw material has been sourced responsibly. Our FSC-labelled packages are of great importance for our environmentally conscious customers and our export requirements.

Export Readiness

At Alesta UA, the packaging process is carried out in compliance with international shipping standards. Packaging solutions that meet the customs and shipping requirements of all export markets, primarily Türkiye and Europe, are applied. Prior to each shipment, package integrity and labelling are checked and approved one final time.
